About Us

We started Big Lick Ice Cream Co. in 2011 with the intention to bring unique & exciting products to our local farmers market in Blacksburg, Virginia. Since then we have been having fun creating new flavors & serving them to the wonderful folks in our local community. You can find us at the Blacksburg Farmers Market, many local festivals, & even have our ice cream truck come to your event! We use organic milk, cream, and sugar as well as organic and/or local fruit & herbs as much as possible. We grow some of the fruit & herbs right here on our farm. By carefully sourcing ingredients and making everything from scratch in small batches we are able to create delicious, quality products.
